Student Showcase Sign-up Deadline is Nov 18th!

Hello Students and Parents,

Registration for our Fall Student Showcase is still open and the deadline to register is Friday, November 18th! 

The Fall Student Showcase is great to ease your way into performing without performing in front of an audience! It’s a low-pressure opportunity to consolidate all our hard work and progress and create and express something from your heart! Students will be able to build an act, get valuable performance experience, and receive high quality video footage of all your amazing hard work to share with friends and family! Here are the key points:

  • This showcase will be professionally filmed on the evening of Friday, December 16th

  • This opportunity is included as part of the Youth Performance Team programming. For all other students, a participation fee of $40+HST is required to cover the cost of filming.

  • All ages are welcome to participate! Kid and Youth classes will create a group number to perform together - students not interested in performing will still participate in the creation process, but will not perform.

  • Adult students will have the opportunity to perform as a soloist. 

  • Acts can be approximately 2-4 min, but should not exceed 5 min.

  • Only a portion of class time can be dedicated to act creation. Adult performers, and youth/kids with a parent present, are encouraged to take advantage of our weekly Open Gym sessions to further develop and refine their pieces.
