Why Participate in a Student Showcase?

Reason #2: It’s something to work for! Circus is meant to be performed, and we encourage every student to go for it! You’d be amazed at how much faster your skills improve when you light a fire under yourself.

Since performing requires you to link moves together and stay in the air/keep moving for several minutes at a time, your endurance will increase as performance time gets closer.

If that’s not reason enough, once you get into the flow of it, you’d be amazing at how creative you can be. Finding the right piece of music can send your imagination soaring, as well as your ambitions. You might discover that you have new motivation to nail that move you’ve always struggled with, but are totally in love with, as you dream of putting it into your act.

Guaranteed, you will come away from your performance stronger, more creative, and more connected to your circus community.
