Learning to Take It Slower - 31 Weeks Pregnant
I can't believe this picture was taken over two weeks ago, when I was 29 weeks pregnant! This little passenger has clearly had a growth spurt since, because I don't look like this anymore! 😲.
I've been taking time to teach myself to appreciate the incredible things my body is doing right now, even though they're not aerial related. I have attached my sense of self so fiercely to what I am able to do in the air that it's taken some serious mental rearranging to embrace this new phase of life. But little by little I am learning to celebrate this amazing body for the beautiful way it is growing life.
Not being in the air for a while does not make me any less of an aerialist. I may be closer to the ground for a while, but it truly feels like I am in the process of becoming so much more than I was before.
Learning to embrace the journey. Wherever it takes me. Every day.
Thanks to @00silkdrop for this wonderful sequence, and for being an inspiration to aerial mamas and women everywhere!
