Maternity Leave

Today is officially my last day of work before I go on maternity leave!

It's been a mad dash over the past six months to ensure that renovations are done, all systems are in place, and the loose ends are tied up as best as possible. There may be a few still waving about, but with such a solid team behind this studio, I know that they too will be tied up somehow. This place is full of dedicated, amazing people, and I can't imagine leaving things in better hands.

While I love this community and what we've built, I am looking forward to some time away to reflect and let the changes within me take their course. I know that when I enter the doors of the studio again and get back to work, I will not be the same person I was when I left.

Yet I am confident that I will be better for this journey.

When I return, I am sure that it will be a gradual process, full of ups and downs as I reconcile this new me with the parts of my old self that I still wish to keep.

Thank you to everyone for your support over the past 9 months! And thank you to our terrific staff for taking the reins and making this studio even better while I'm away.
